The initial point of client contact and servicing. The Customer Service Representative’s job is frontline involvement with administering travel insurance policies for Cruise Lines, Tour Operators, and Retail Accounts. Functions as a member of a team and reports directly to a designated Supervisor.ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
The Customer Service Representative answers incoming calls in a prompt professional manner while meeting performance standards (average availability, talk time and call volume). Extends quality service to clients by providing knowledgeable coverage information and assisting with additional inquiries. Initiates claims and provides subsequent status information. Maintains key performance indicators, meeting standards set for the position. Composes written responses to customer inquiries. Voluntary participation on special project teams, to enhance the departmental knowledge base. Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Customer Service related experience, preferred in an call center environment. Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as a team member. Multi task oriented. PC knowledge and keyboarding experiencePUBLIC TRANSPORTATION:
Both the N48 and N49 Long Island Bus will take passengers directly from the Hicksville Railroad Station (weekdays only) to the Jericho Quadrangle (our office location).Our Culture:
