Customer Service Engineer - Structures

Job Description:
Responsible for providing technical guidance to customers and service facility personnel relative to aircraft structural issues. Will coordinate with Structures Engineering to develop, certify and support the incorporation of structural repairs and modifications in all Citation models. Will monitor fleet reliability via customer reports, reliability reports, CPD sales reports, and other means as necessary, to proactively identify fleet issues. When fleet issues are identified, will establish and track resolution programs to completion. Will prepare appropriate documentation to inform applicable persons, including management, of fleet issues and potential fleet impact, including financial impact. Will prepare and deliver technical presentations.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or extensive formal training in aircraft structures is required. Airframe and Powerplant license a plus. Prior field service, engineering or manufacturing experience preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication, program tracking and management, and troubleshooting skills. Excellent interpersonal skills are required to interact with all customers, vendors and Cessna personnel. Travel worldwide on short notice may be required.Posted 8/21/06
