Customer Reporting Analyst #815-06 (815-06)

The Customer Reporting Department, located in Pleasanton, California, has an opening for a Customer Reporting Analyst:
4 year college degree. Computer Science preferred
Experience working with relational databases. This includes, but is not limited to, designing, building, and disseminating information from these databases.
2+ years of computer programming experience.
2+ years of experience in reporting and analysis
2+ years of analyzing databases for data gaps.
Strong understanding of relational customer databases including SQL writing, modeling, and optimization.
Strong project management, leadership, analytical and problem solving skills
Strong detail orientation
Self-starter with high degree of initiative and results orientation
Ability to handle multiple assignments and manage competing priorities with tight deadlines.
Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment and work independently.
Excellent PC and programming skills including Microsoft Office Suite, Teradata, and Unix
Experience with SAS, Microstrategy, Visual Basic, PERL and ASP as plus.

Designing, building, enhancing and maintaining databases on multiple platforms.
Designing, building, enhancing decision support tools based around databases on varying platforms.
Look for new ways to present information to management that is faster and easier to comprehend.
Manage existing data while developing and enhancing current analytic systems to support strategic initiatives.
Perform ad hoc projects, analysis, and reporting as required by senior management.
