General Summary:



This person contributes to The Pepsi Bottling Group's success by developing and maintaining Customer relationships for high dollar/volume accounts. This person is responsible for providing accurate, timely collection activities for specific customer accounts.



Major Tasks, Key Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities

Initiate customer contact to manage collection processes
Maintain customer credit status based on customer payment performance
Sustain primary customer relationships
Engage in customer interface to understand accounting, purchasing, and delivery processes and procedures
Timely collection and resolution of rebills via customer correspondence
Work with management to build game plans to reduce days credit sales outstanding
Perform file maintenance (i.e. hierarchy, store number, statement, etc.) to ensure accurate billings
Meet case resolution service level agreements
Initiate communication with team members to achieve thorough issue resolution, outline customer accounting processes, and maintain reliable customer service
Review and analyze aged trial balance to identify priority accounts to conduct and facilitate collection efforts
Perform account projections and analysis
Update customer scorecards to reflect accurate trend analysis on a monthly basis
Resolve customer discrepancies within established service level agreements

REQUIREMENTS




Basic Job Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent
PC proficient in Word, Access, and Excel



Preferred Job Qualifications

One plus years experience in collections and/or accounting
