Customer Engineer

The client has an opening for a Customer Engineer(CE). Candidate is responsible for customer satisfaction within assigned accounts and acts to maintain good relations. The CE works with customer management to plan, communicate, and coordinate support plans. They perform daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, bi-annual, and annual periodic mechanical maintenance on systems and wet cleans as required. They instruct customers in the use and maintenance of systems. They find and fix software problems on equipment, facilities, or wafers, and troubleshoot software variations on the system. They retrofit existing equipment, and anticipate and correct problems on retrofits before installation. They use special tools and test equipment as part of an overall diagnostic technique on complex system failures. They provide leadership and a technical resource within assigned accounts and outside of assigned territory.
REQUIREMENTS
The qualified candidate has ASEET/equivalent w/ 5 - 7 years electro-mechanical experience or BSEET/ equivalent w/ 4 - 6 yrs electro-mechanical experience. Three plus years experience in the semiconductor industry with at least 1 year previous experience on AMAT equipment, and process and/or software experience on related semiconductor equipment. Position may require possession of a current driver's license and passport. The candidate must be willing and able to travel, between regions and internationally with flexibility to work shifts/overtime/stand-by/on-call/holidays when required.
