Customer Development Representative

Primarily responsible for providing effective customer service for all internal and external Kerry Food & Beverage Specialty Coffee customers by utilizing excellent, in-depth knowledge of company products and programs as well as the resources of outside sales and internal Sales/Marketing teams. Ability to develop strong customer relationsEssential functions and responsibilities to include the following::Provide timely and accurate information to incoming customer order status and product knowledge requestsEnter and process customer orders/changes according to department policies and proceduresWork with brokers, distributors, operators, end user consumers and outside sales people regarding order processing and sampling inquiriesWork with carriers regarding shipping issuesInteract with many manufacturing and warehousing facilities to make sure our orders are going out at the highest fill rate possible
Work closely with the Accounting Department to resolve credit issues and itemsProvide timely feedback to the company regarding customer concerns, complaints, and/or issuesUpsell new products to specialty coffee operators, end user consumers, and distributors through the utilization of indepth customer rapport and knowledge of company products and programsFollow up on orders to ensure timely delivery by specified datesReceive, log, and follow up on customer complaintsPartner with sales representatives to meet and exceed customerâ??s expectations
Perform other related duties as assigned to meet business needs
REQUIREMENTS
Must have a High School diploma or GED
3 - 5 years experience in sales or customer service manufacturing
Must have the ability to work rotating work shift to 7 pm
Minimal travel is requiredLanguage Skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including good grammar, voice and dictionMathematical Skills
Ability to calculate figures and amountsReasoning ability
Ability to make sound and effective decisions in response to customerâ??s needsComputer Skills
Computer proficiency
AS/400 knowledge
