Customer Care Specialist - Mililtary Sales

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide administrative support to Government & Military Sales Department and Government Sales Administrator including day-to-day contact with customers and lead generation. Assists Government Sales Director and Government Sales Representatives with various projects, and interfacing with other Life Fitness departments to accomplish assigned goals and objectives. Maintains in-depth knowledge of Life Fitness products, customers, competitors and market conditions.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Assist Government Sales Administrator with daily customer contact and correspondence; i.e., quote pricing, delivery, general product information, etc.
Assist Government Sales Administrator with contacting new and existing customers, utilizing leads or lists, to inform customers of GSA contract and current prices and products.
Assist Government Sales Administrator in preparing and distributing Bidders' Lists, assist in the preparation of monthly sales and build forecasts for department, coordinate special projects, including providing leads for the Government Sales Representatives.
Assist Government Sales Administrator in preparing daily sales orders, to include tracking orders through the system to ensure timely delivery.
Assist Government Sales Administrator in maintaining all GSA and government contract information. This includes notification of amendments to contract, contractor's reports, establishing and updating new government/military contract, organizing mail outs of new government contract, etc.
Assist Government Sales Administrator in interfacing with the Accounting department to research orders that are outstanding and/or are experiencing problems; i.e., incomplete orders, pricing/invoicing differences, etc.
Assist Government Sales Administrator in handling customer service requests and interface with CSS regarding service, parts information, installation, and set-up required for orders.
Assist Government Sales Administrator in processing telephone calls and correspondence received by Government Sales Department in the absence of the Government Sales Administrator.
Assist Government Sales Administrator in tracking and preparing all Expenditure Requisitions, Requests for Commitment Authorization, Accounting action requests, and all forms needing completion for the department.
Assist Government Sales Administrator in making direct sales calls to the market segment as determined by the Director Government Sales.
Work trade shows and attend meetings as required. Attendance mandatory at National Sales meetings.
Participate in projects and seminars as required.
Perform other related duties as required.
REQUIREMENTS
Excellent communication and written skills.
Excellent follow-through and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.)
BA preferred.
