Customer Care Representative - Insurance

The East Hartford, Connecticut office of Receivable Management Services is currently seeking to fill the position of Customer Care Representative for the Insurance segment. In this position, the candidate will be able to perform the following:

1.Manage goals and expectations of an assigned group of insurance customers.
2.Resolve issues related to outstanding claims that may include but is not limited to recoveries, debtor disputes, and attorney correspondence.
3.Work closely with the collection staff to ensure that performance measurements and specific customer requirements are being followed.
4.Effectively communicate customer issues and concerns to management.
5.Responsible to work with customer care and management to achieve.
6.Any other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
1.High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; college degree preferred.
2.Prior customer care experience required.
3.Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build a strong rapport with customers.
4.Strong analytical, technical (including a high proficiency in Microsoft Office) and problem-solving skills.
5.Knowledge of the insurance industry or paralegal certification a plus.
6.High accuracy and detail oriented.
7.Must be able to work independently within a team environment.
