Customer Assistants Full-time/Flexible

1. Provides courteous customer service; greeting each customer with friendly eye contact and individually thanks them for their business. 2. Carefully bags groceries and offers carry out service. 3. Retrieves, organizes, and clean carts/baskets as needed or directed by Customer Service leadership. 4. Perform price checks as needed and restocks returned/abandoned product in a timely manner. 5. Complies with all applicable health, safety, and sanitation regulations. 6. Responds promptly to customer needs and questions and requests assistance when necessary. 7. Performs other duties throughout the store as assigned by the Store Team Leader, Associate Store Team Leader, Shift Manager, and/or Customer Service Team Leadership.
REQUIREMENTS
Ability to follow instructions and established procedures. Ability to understand customers’ needs. Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with other Team Members and leadership. Ability to communicate, read, and comprehend instructions in English. Must be 16 years or older and work up to a maximum of 8-10 hours per day. Stand and walk for extended periods of time up to 4 hours without a break. Bend and stoop to grasp objects and climb ladders. Bend and lift loads, not to exceed 50 pounds, unassisted. Operate department equipment. Repetitive use of hands and arms, including lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, fine manipulation, and reaching at or above the shoulder. Able to work a variety of shifts including weekends, evenings, and holidays. Willingness to receive constructive feedback pertaining to job performance. Willingness to provide exemplary customer service constantly and consistently. Good communication skills. A desire to learn about natural and organic foods and products.
