Crew Chief

A great home theater is that stress-free part of the house where the magic happens with the push of a button. Each system installed is specifically tailored to fit a different room and lifestyle. Our trained custom installers can install, program this type of technology and explain it in simple and understandable terms to our customers.

There are four types of installers
1. Custom Apprentice
2. Crew Chief
3. Quick Response Technician
4. Field Supervisor

As a Crew Chief, you will train and work with an Install Apprentice to install some of today's best home theatre systems in customer's homes and businesses. The two major responsibilities of a Crew Chief are to assist and teach the apprentice on installations and encourage the installer to successfully complete their apprentice-training book.

A Crew Chief should be able to successfully complete and maintain the following disciplines and standards:

The ability to do a DSS single or multi-room installation.
Install a basic home theater system utilizing a Surround Receiver, VCR, CD, Tape, DVD and Television, driving in-wall, on-wall and/or floor standing speakers, a center channel and subwoofer per the Flowchart.
Install speakers into drywall.
Mount on-wall outdoor speakers.
Install volume controls
Install basic IR repeater system.
Properly terminate RF connectors, BNC connectors, RJ45 connectors
and speaker wiring.
Program manufacture remotes.
Properly fill out Progress Reports.
Maintain regular vehicle maintenance. REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate will be able to:

Learn new systems in a timely fashion
Maintain high levels of organization
Have a vocational background or hands on trade experience in the following fields: carpentry, electrical or programming.
