Core Personnel for Apartment ComplexesRapidly expanding National real estate property management firm is seeking core personnel for apartment complexes in the Laredo, Texas area. The selected candidates will work closely with the Regional Manager; on-site property managers; and management company Accounting and Human Resources Departments.
Ideal candidates will have a proven track record in property management, leasing, and/or maintenance supervision and be self-motivated, possess strong written and verbal communications skills.EXPERIENCE IN APARTMENT PROPERTY MANAGEMENT IS REQUIRED!PROPERTY MANAGER and ASSISTANT PROPERTY MANAGER
Responsibilities Include
Provide full day-to-day operations management of apartment community while emphasizing positive response to employee and resident concerns.Tenant screening and processing of credit checks.
Position includes management of employees including office staff, maintenance lead, and remaining staff.Establish work schedules and make ready schedules, observe or review contract work and inspect problem
Areas including building and grounds.Walk units to ensure condition prior to move-in. Walk site to ensure community is clean and safe for tenants.Complete monthly operating reports - HAP, month-end financial report, monthly package transmittalsheet,
Monthly work order summary sheet, payroll reporting, all other monthly report, maintain waiting list.SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to organize and motivate office, maintenance staff and leads.Strong collection/accounts receivables skills.
Budgeting and marketing plan experience.
Exceptional employee (office and maintenance staff) and tenant relations skills.
Scheduling & managing operations (must have flexibility to work weekends and evenings if needed).
Working knowledge of Fair Housing Laws.
Strong organizational skills.
Computer operations (Excel, Word, Rent Roll, ADP and other).
Typing and general office skills.
Sales related abilities.SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Strong oral and written skills
Strong organizational skills: ability to set priorities; able to meet deadlines
Ability to self manage.
Knowledge of bookkeeping, A/P, A/ R
Knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, Timberline, ADP & Rental Roll preferred.Operation of office equipment
Able to handle matters of confidential and sensitive nature
Good interpersonal skillsEXPERIENCE
Prior property management.EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Undergraduate degree or related work experience in Administration or Human Resources

Show model apartments to prospective residents.
Set up appointments for apartment viewing.
Strong collection/accounts receivables skills.
Rent collections.
Follow-up on all traffic.
Assist in tenant screening and processing of credit checks.
Assist with marketing to include preparation of flyers, newsletters and market surveys.SKILLS AND ABILITIES
