Copy Operator

POSITION: Copy OperatorReports To: Copy Centre Manager
Location: Chicago
Position Requirements: Operates copy center equipment; accepts reprographic jobs, operates bindery and finishing equipment and coordinates time and availability of equipment to assure the timely completion of work moving through the copy center.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
•Process entire work cycle of an order, from receipt of request from client, through printing/copying, preparation of invoicing, and processing of payments.
•Interact with clientele to determine print and copy needs, and advise clients of timeframes for completion of job orders.
•Review work order to determine job specifications, such as ink color and quantity required.
•Monitor copier and print supplies inventory, and make adjustments or request supplies as necessary.
•Monitor binding and copying supplies inventory, and make adjustments or request supplies as necessary.
•Operate a variety of digital print and copy equipment to facilitate completion of orders.
•Perform bindery operations such as section marrying, signature nesting, collating, binding, stitching, trimming, folding, and finish wrapping. Operate small hand machines such as drills, plastic binding equipment, paper cutter, and staplers.

REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS REQUIRED
•Completion of high school or GED•Advanced knowledge of copiers and finishing machines
•Advanced knowledge of both Mac and PC platforms
•Strong problem solving and prioritizing ability
•Excellent organizational abilities
