Computer Operator - Night Shift

We are driven by a vision to help set the standards for efficiency and overall quality of healthcare with the products and services we provide.We are currently hiring Night Shift Computer Operators for our state-of-the-art Technology Solutions Center located in Mountain Lakes, New Jersey. Ideal candidates should have experience with monitoring and troubleshooting network and computer systems in a data center environment. We seek self-starters who work well independently and have excellent customer service skills.Primary Responsibilities:

Multiple platform monitoring of system consoles, batch processing and application interfaces

Troubleshoot/escalate issues discovered and/or reported

Perform basic diagnostics to detect and correct system errors or failures

Operate peripheral devices such as tape drives and printers.

Perform customer support functions including interaction with clients and internal support personnel

Utilize Clarify (problem tracking system) to document incidents, work performed and escalate issues to appropriate support groups

Complete shift documentation and turnover procedures.Schedule:
3 day work week (12 Hours per shift) 8 P.M. - 8 A.M. Rotating days (2 weeks on weekdays, 2 weeks on weekends). Occasional overtime is required.Required Skills:
High school diploma with two years experience as a computer operator monitoring multiple platforms. Motivated and reliable individual with operations experience on OS/MVS, VM/VSE, AS/400, Open Systems/NT. Experience on all these platforms is desired, but not required.
Ability to operate computer systems, identify system problems and resolve machine and processing problems under minimal supervision.
Excellent communication skills are a must because responsibilities include interaction with customers and internal support personnel.Job Requirements
