Under the direction of the Community or Operations Development Manager, the Community Marketing Representative will promote Education Station tutoring programs to parents, local schools, community centers and faith-based organizations and assist with the enrollment of eligible children under NCLB.Essential Job Functions: This is a temporary position. Available now through October. Rate of pay - $10/hour.Assisting the CDM or ODM to build an understanding of Education Stations’ products and programs among parents of eligible children by conducting outreach at community events near targeted sites.Canvassing local neighborhoods to increase awareness, distribute promotional materials as directed, and collect-completed enrollment forms.Assisting to organize and attend open houses, information booths and perform site visits to schools and community organizations to promote Education Station.Track information received on eligible students and report to CDM or ODM on marketing activities.Consistently demonstrate a professional personal appearance, positive interpersonal interactions and exceptional customer service decorum to support the positive image of Education Station in the community.
REQUIREMENTS
H.S diploma or equivalent preferred
Prior community outreach experiences, preferably in low-income communities.
Demonstrated interpersonal, verbal, written, and organizational skills, and ability to communicate with all customers and management.
Bi-lingual Spanish is a plus for some areas.
