Customer Service Representative - Commercial Lines Assistant

To work with one or more of the Commercial Lines Account Executives in a professional manner and to help the AE's with as much of the routine paperwork and phone calls as possible to allow them the time to spend with remarketing and other difficult service issues. This requires someone with a true team attitude. The assistant must have a complete understanding of all agency computer systems and procedures which will enable them to perform the following job functions:

Prepare applications and rating as needed to submit to companies for renewal quotations. Prepare binders, certificates, ID cards and other necessary items no later than renewal date. Check and process policies when received, request corrections and follow up on all requests.

Handle renewal activity on direct bill renewal policies including renewal letters, checking of policies and updating of the agency management system.

Handle routine requests for endorsements and certificates including any needed follow up and/or required processing.

Submit claim notices to the company as needed and follow up on all first party claims. Follow up on third party claims as necessary to relieve any aggravation being caused to the customer.

Handle other routine items as requested by the underwriter.
REQUIREMENTS
Commercial Lines Insurance experience.
