Collector IV

Overview: Collections of accounts receivable from Andrx's largest customers who significantly impact sales volume and profitability. Assist in resolving issues from customers to increase customer satisfaction and to maintain accounts receivable aging and DSO. Issues and collections are more of process and contractual nature with constant monitoring required. A more seasoned collector is required to handle the volume and issues that develop routinely with the major chains and wholesalers. Position requires customer contact at higher levels within their organization and reporting to management when issues are not being addressed.Responsibilities:
Provides comminication to Andrx's largest customers via telephone, computer, and written correspondence regarding account's payment status. Works with sales to resolve issues and assists in resolution of deductions impacting Andrx's accounts receivable.Supports inter-departmental initiatives to ensure that goals are met, as deemed necessary.Job Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor degree or higher or the equivalent in experience.
Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities with attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication
Must be proficient with Windows and Excel.
Ability to work with minimal supervision and advise management on issues based on defined processes and practices.
5-10 years of collection experience with a working knowledge of credit policies, practices and systems with B2B.
3-5 years proven record of collections with a high volume transaction company.
Must have the ability to work independently to achieve the desired results.
