Collector - Exciting Opportunities

Exciting opportunities to join our collections team!The Bethlehem, Pennsylvania office of Receivable Management Services is currently seeking to fill Collector positions for the business unit servicing Attorney Collections. These positions are responsible for the collection of accounts for RMS’ highly visible customers. The exciting and challenging work of an RMS Collector requires them to be able to perform the following responsibilities:1.Contact debtors, by telephone, regarding accounts placed for collections.
2.Work with the RMS Customer, in order to resolve problems or issues, to ensure collections of the accounts they have placed with RMS.
3.Provide debtors with up-to-date information on their account, set up payment plans and following through with those payment plans to assure settlement of accounts on the RMS Customer’s behalf.
4.Usually responsible for larger claims and may work with special targeted customers.
5.Has individual accountability for collection performance.
REQUIREMENTS
1.High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; College degree preferred.
2.Strong knowledge of collection procedures is necessary with credit background a plus.
3.Sales ability/persuasiveness, excellent oral and written communications, negotiations, analysis, planning & organizing skills are required.
4.Initiative, tenacity, resilience, integrity and a positive attitude are also required.
