Collections Representative - Business Services

We currently have a regular part-time (32/40hrs biwkly) position available in the TJUH Business Services department. The primary function of this position will be to conduct collection activities and follow up on self - pay balances. The selected candidate will be responsible for clearly understand legal rulings and regulations. This will include state-specific laws pertaining to collections
REQUIREMENTS
Associate Degree preferred.
Minimum of three (3) years experience in a health care facility, preferably in a Business Office setting.
Neat pleasant appearance.
Good communication skills.
Ability to negotiate an advantageous settlement with debtor.
Basic knowledge of third party reimbursement.
