Collection Specialist

Business Unit: GE HealthcareFunction: CollectionsResponsibilities: Responsible for the collection, management and resolution of outstanding invoices from past due accounts. Work on collections issues where analysis of underlying issues, problem resolution and transmission of data / documents to customers is critical. Interpersonal, problem resolution, and judgment skills are critical to persuading customers to pay.1. Contact all past due accounts and customers multiple times during the course of the month.2. Track and communicate collection issues (write-offs, bankruptcies, slow-payments, credit holds, etc.)3. Initiation for approval of applicable credit memos.4. Interface with sales and support groups to administer credit hold issues.5. Prepare financial reports required by management relative to current and forecasted collections.6. Compile accurate analyses and schedules to analyze receivables performance.7. Other related tasks as assigned.8. Comply with GE Healthcare EHS, Quality and other policies.~HJ~~NW~
