Clinical Account Executive

ATTN RNs with SALES EXPERIENCE Sells specialty home care service lines to physicians/hospitals/nursing facilities/discharge planners/case managers and assists with pull through for Network business within an assigned territory. Will also make a preliminary determination of potential clients' eligibility/need / assist branch operations w/ clinical coordination/communication with referral sources as required. Works under moderate supervision.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Calls on physicians, hospital/skilled nursing facilities' management, discharge planners and case managers within an assigned territory to promote the sale Home Health service lines. Coordinates w/ Mgt for strategies. Liaison between clients and company. Conducts pre-discharge hospital or other facility visits at the physicians' request and upon receiving physician orders to make a preliminary determination of the need/eligibility for home care--works w/ Home Care Specialist. Resp. for appropriate documentation and works with Branch management to process referral.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or the equivalent, R.N. licensure plus a minimum of three years clinical experience industry sales experience required. Strong knowledge of governmental home health regulations, Medicare requirements and care plan development techniques required. Excellent organization, problem solving and communication skills also required. General knowledge of sales techniques and a basic knowledge of physician, hospital/skilled nursing facility, case management and discharge planning service needs required. Computer literacy required. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and presentation skills also required. Ability to travel within assigned territory and to sales meetings as required.
