Client Services Specialist - Cardiology Reporting

A small, growing Chicago-based software development company creating innovative components for physician-oriented cardiology procedure reporting is seeking a nurse, technician, or medical professional, with computer mastery and strong presentation skills who is interested in a career in the healthcare information technology industry.

Our Client Services team supports our partner companies and their hospital clients by providing customization of our physician-oriented structured reporting software, as well as educational in-service and training programs for partner and client staff covering the effective use of our reporting software in the clinical workflow.
Responsibilities

Conduct customization sessions with clients in which their product customization requests are analyzed and discussed, and the resulting customizations reviewed. Provide training on our customization process to client physicians, nurses, and hospital staff.
Use our customization software to perform customization of our physician-oriented structured reporting user interface and the associated cardiology procedure reports. Test and validate the resulting customizations. Cardiology procedures include Cath, Echo, Nuclear, Noninvasive Vascular, Peripheral Vascular, Electrophysiology, Stress ECG.Provide product educational programs to partner staff.
Utilize project management skills to ensure tasks are completed correctly and on schedule.
Participate in the creation of training materials, educational materials, and product manuals.
Gather and provide feedback from clients and partner staff to ensure product development meets market and customer requirements.
Perform informatics and engineering product validation as assigned.
Report to the V.P.of Client Services.

Nature of the position

Majority of work is performed at home with equipment and software supplied by the company. Web conferencing technologies are used to deliver customization and training sessions and for discussions within the company and with our partners. Occasional travel required.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications

We are looking for a bright, organized, and motivated professional.
Bachelor’s degree or medical technician certificate is required.
Professional medical experience is required; cardiology knowledge is a plus.
Mastery of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel is required. Must be comfortable using the computer as a problem-solving tool. Familiarity with clinical software is a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including public speaking; group facilitation experience is a plus.
Must live in the Chicago metropolitan area and have transportation.
