Client Reporting Analyst

Our client a leader in the financial industry is seeking a Client Reporting Analyst to join their team.

Overview:
The Senior Security Operations Specialist is responsible for meeting
detailed Institutional Fixed Income Client Reporting requirements. This involves preparing, coordinating and delivering client reports (such as performance returns, portfolio characteristics, holdings and transactions and turnover) for our Institutional clients. Working closely with Portfolio Managers, Analysts, Risk Managers, Finance, and Relationship Managers.


Job responsibilities may include:Preparing daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly client reports for our institutional clientsReconcile holdings, transactions and other portfolio characteristicsCoordinating with Compliance in meeting client guidelinesAssuming ownership for any reporting issues or ad-hoc requests that are raisedAnticipating issues that may adversely affect the ability to meet reporting deadlines, and taking action to reduce the risk of occurrencesProactively seeking ways to improve current processes by leveraging the tools available to Identify inefficiencies and implementing automated solutionsCultivating both internal and external relationships to ensure proper service levels are achieved for each fund supportedKeeping abreast of industry initiatives and market trends that can impact our business and/or offer opportunities to improve our processesDeveloping an understanding of the fixed income trading business and sharing knowledge with business management and operations teams in order to increase service levelsEnsuring that all internal stakeholders understand investment strategies and specific portfolio requirements.
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business preferredPrior experience in business management, client reporting, portfolio analysis, or fixed income operationsKnowledge of fixed income products and investment strategiesAbility to organize, prioritize tasks and work in a deadline oriented environmentStrong analytical and problem solving skillsStrong PC skills. Must exhibit proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint and aptitude towards learning new applications/software quicklyWillingness and desire to learn and teach othersProven ability to develop and cultivate relationships across all staff levelsSelf-motivation and ability to work within a team environmentPC skills with strong knowledge of spreadsheets, portfolio management tools and mainframe applicationsStrong written and verbal communication skillsWorks well as part of a teamAble to multi-task and absorb information across a broad spectrum of products
