Clearance Store Manager

The duties for this position include, but are not limited to:

Maximizing Slumberland’s store sales and profit through managing operations, sales, profit margins

Train store employees to become leaders of Slumberland

Monitor sales projections, performance, and individual margins of sales associates using reports, and closing ratios

Conduct sales associate performance reviews as scheduled, develop employees and track progress

Train assistants and support staff on forecasting, reordering, receiving and product flow

Recruit, interview, hire, develop, and terminate store employees as needed

Practice regular feedback sessions and conduct performance reviews

Promote teamwork within the store

Maintain a clean and profitable store

Supervise the flow of inventory, working closely with stock leadJob Requirements
Job Requirements
High School diploma or GED; secondary education preferred

Experience selling large ticket items

Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Proficient with GERS computer system and PLECA software

Management of people and processes

Retail hours - days, evenings, weekends,and flexibility with time off

Able to work frequent extended hours

Attention to detail; follow through
