Claim Services Assistant
Claim Services AssistantCapital Insurance Group has an excellent entry level opportunity in their Bakersfield office for a Claim Services Assistant. This position provides administrative support to the Claims Department involving data entry, retrieval and storage of claim information and reports through manual and automated systems. This heavy transaction desk requires an individual who possesses a keen attention for detail along with the ability to handle multiple assignments accurately and in a timely manner. This position problem solves, tracks requests for documents, records, and time sensitive information. Since document storage and retrieval is a major component of this assignment, the position does require some physical dexterity with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. The Claims Services Assistant works with records and documents of a sensitive and confidential nature. This assignment requires strong administrative skills along with the ability to exercise discretion, judgment as well as excellent organizational abilities to manage time and work priorities effectively. Excellent customer service skills including listening and grammar are necessary to interact with internal company personnel and to prepare record inventories and reports.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications include, but are not limited to knowledge of standard office practices and administrative procedures along with solid personal computer skills and experience with standard business software applications such as Word and Excel. Candidates must also meet physical lifting requirements. Education and Experience should include the equivalence of a high school diploma including some administrative training with 1 to 2 years of claims clerical support, data entry or other office support in a professional work environment.
