Trader Publishing Company, the photo guide/classified publication industry leader in the US (Auto Trader Magazines, www.autotrader.com, www.traderonline.com), seeks a successful individual to supervise shifts and supervise / further develop our Telesales Representatives at our Saint Paul, Minnesota Call Center. This challenging opportunity is for candidates desiring to supervise representatives of our outbound telesales organization and meet the assigned sales teams' objectives.Full time exempt position, hours will generally be Mon - Thu 11am - 8pm, Sat 8am - 5pm.(hours may change as business needs demand) Salary Range is $25,000 - $40,000 annually.Essential Duties include the following: (other duties may be assigned, as required) Effective management of the predictive dialer. Ensure all state and federal ‘do not call’ laws are observed. Responsible for the continued coaching and development of employees assigned to the telemarketing department. Coordinates employee work schedules. Provides the telemarketing staff with a sufficient source and number of
leads. Divides sources and leads fairly among all telemarketers. Monitors and critiques telemarketers as they work to ensure that correct
information is being relayed to customers. Promotes and maintains incentive programs to motivate and encourage
telemarketing staff. Tracks and proofs sales and appointments scheduled by telemarketing
staff. Maintains hourly telemarketing statistics. Sets daily goals for telemarketing staff. Provide feedback to telemarketing staff to improve sales goals. Provides regular reviews for telemarketing staff. Responsible for administration of daily call campaigns.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITES: Directly supervises 15 to 30 employees in the Telemarketing Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Company’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include coaching and developing telemarketing sales representatives; plans, assigns, and directs work; appraises performance; rewards and (when necessary) disciplines employees and resolves customer and employee problems.Candidates must demonstrate a strong pattern of success in:Call Center Supervisory ExperienceA College degree strongly preferred(appropriate equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered as well)Excellent time management and organization skillsStrong communication skills in order to work with other managers, supervisors, sales agents and internal / external customers.Experience with coaching and mentoring telesales, telemarketing, or customer service representatives.Very good knowlede of all Microsoft Office Applications, fast learner of other computer applications.Trader offers a dynamic environment, excellent growth opportunities, competitive earnings and a comprehensive benefits package including a generous 401(k).
