POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Allstate Insurance Company has exceptional career opportunities for Customer Service Professionals. Due to continued growth and our commitment to be a leader in the insurance industry, the Customer Information Center located in Woodridge, IL is looking for individuals to provide an exceptional experience to our customers. Join a team of customer service professionals who are trained to be knowledgeable in Allstate's competitive Auto and Property insurance products in order to meet customer satisfaction targets and performance goals. Our licensed insurance Customer Service Professionals interact via the telephone with existing customers to answer complex customer inquires and resolve service concerns. These individuals work closely with our customers and prospects to identify their needs, provide quotes, and discuss the benefits of being an Allstate policyholder.
Primary responsibilities will be to answer complex customer inquiries and/or resolve complex service concerns in order to support customers. Other duties include providing service to customers through inbound calls, and mail/fax transactions, and providing an exceptional experience in order to meet customer satisfaction targets and performance goals. You will also be responsible for acting on cross-selling opportunities in order to increase household penetration and improve customer retention, as well as develop subject matter for expertise and remain current on new marketing campaigns and customer service programs.
REQUIREMENTS:
The ideal candidate must posses attentive listening skills and the ability to provide a high level customer service experience. Excellent customer service skills required. Strong communication skills and computer proficiency including Microsoft applications desirable. Attention to detail and quality are essential. Must have the ability to function as a team player and work in a fast paced environment. Must possess current property and casualty licenses for the state of IL or be able to successfully pass the Insurance Licensing Exam for the state of IL within two attempts after accepting the position. Must be able to answer customer and prospect inquiries that require an agent's license. Bilingual, Spanish speaking skills a plus.

The skills required are:
1. Advanced - An existing property and casualty license for the state in which you live, or the ability to successfully pass the Insurance Licensing Exam for the state in which you live within two attempts after accepting the position.
2. Advanced - The ability to obtain and maintain a Insurance License for the state(s) for which you live, work, and service.
3. Advanced - The ability to resolve complex questions/issues and refer other inquiries to appropriate areas as needed.
4. Advanced - A comprehensive understanding of specific company products in order to portray confidence and credibility to customers.
5. Advanced - The ability to answer customer inquiries that require an agent's license which include questions on coverage, limits, and deductibles; review customer policies, discuss options and update customer policy records; process changes to customer policies which require an agent's license.
