? Analyzing claims to certify benefit payments
? Entering and processing data for claim payment? Evaluating all components to ensure that state, federal, & customer requirements are met
? Requesting data to certify claim approval/ denial
? Supporting customer service functions as needed
? Utilizing automated systems in a windows environment
? Processing approximately 160 to 200 claims per day
In order to succeed in this position, you will need:
? Ability to demonstrate a complete understanding and application of concepts during training
? Excellent research and analytical skills
? Demonstrate strong data entry and typing skills
? Proficiency in the use of a PC to include using a mouse and keyboard interchangeably
? Ability to locate and interpret complex information from approximately 10+computer applications residing in a windows environment
? Quickly grasp and understand complex technical information, complete tasks based on understanding complex oral and written directions and instructions? Basic math skills for calculating out-of-pocket expenses and percentages
? Ability to work independently, while utilizing good time management to meet daily productivity expectations
? Demonstrate the ability to build and maintain productive working relationships with others and contribute as an effective team member
