Call Center Manager
Virtua Health is currently seeking a full-time dayshift Manager for the Call Center located in our Gibbsboro, New Jersey office. The Manager of the Call Center is charged with directing its operations in order to complete the marketing cycle by connecting consumers responding to marketing strategies and initiatives with Virtua’s services, thereby building utilization and market share. The purpose of the Call Center is to (1) provide a single point of easy access to Virtua’s services and its physicians, (2) cross-sell Virtua services related to the caller’s area of interest, (3) collect caller’s demographic information to build a customer data base, and (4) ultimately increase the utilization of Virtua’s services. The Manager must continuously assess and analyze the nature of calls, Virtua’s ability to respond to them, and based on this information, create strategies for expanding, evolving and upgrading the services provided by the Call Center.
Virtua Health is a multi-hospital healthcare system and one of the largest employers in southern New Jersey. With four hospitals, two rehabilitation and nursing centers, outpatient health and surgery centers, home healthcare services, and the William G. Rohrer Center for HealthFitness, Virtua Health employs 7,100 clinical and administrative personnel and 1,800 physicians as medical staff members.
Virtua Health’s facilities are located just minutes from Philadelphia with easy access to all major routes including: Routes 295, 38, 70, 73 and exits 4 and 5 on the New Jersey Turnpike.
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements include: Bachelor’s Degree with at least five to seven years of customer service or community/ public interaction required with at least three of those years in supervisory positions. Database management experience is essential. Experience preparing management and performance reports and presenting operational status to senior level management is also required. Health care experience including familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare insurance issues is strongly preferred.
