Fort Wayne Newspapers is seeking a Customer Service Team Leader to supervise
the Customer Service operation for both The Journal Gazette and The
News-Sentinel in the absence of the Customer Service Supervisor.
The individual selected to fill this position will assist the Customer Service
Supervisor with hiring and training new representatives and developing a
cohesive team of customer service representatives. The team leader will create
weekly work schedule, contests for representatives to grow subscriber
retention and provide excellent customer service to subscribers. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and leadership
skills. Ability to make quick and accurate decisions. Good computer and
application skills, typing skills and understanding of a database. Willing to
be flexible with personal work schedule. High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of six months prior customer service experience and/ or newspaper
experience. Days vary, 40 hours weekly: Monday through Saturday, 6 a.m. 7
