CUSTOMER SERVICE MANAGER

The Customer Service Manager is responsible for the operational and professional management of the department.

Specific Task List:

* Oversee the order entry/data entry process for all types of medical supply orders(i.e. bulk, rentals, oxygen, C-slip, Medicare Part B, Fee for Service and returns.)

* Develop and update written policies and procedures.

* Oversee activities associated with Managed Care Coordinator responsibilities.

* Develop and maintain a knowledge base of all types of programs offered and associated order processes. Update all personnel regularly with this information.

* Generate pre-determined daily, weekly and monthly reports. Develop and maintain other reports as needed.

* Establish and maintain positive relationships with key customers. Participate in facility visits as needed.

* Provide inservices to Customer Service personnel, as well as customers,on our job duties and policies and procedures.

* Resolve Customer issues and concerns that are brought to the Customer Service Department.

* Manage, train, hire and motivate all department personnel.

* Attend all management meetings as required.

* Prioritize and delegate job tasks to ensure timely completion.

* Communicate with other departments.

* Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, vendors and employees.

* Responsible for performance appraisals, problem solving, mentoring and disciplining all direct reports and ensuring all people in department are reviewed in a timely manner.

* Work with supervisors to ensure accurate staffing levels.

* Responsible for following all company policies, procedures, and protocols.

* Ability to identify problems, recommend and implement solutions.

* Responsible for representing the company in a positive and professional manner.

* All other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
The Customer Service Manager is responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of the department, ensuring that all work is completed in a timely and effective manner. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the management and motivation of the staff, as well as the professional , operational and financial management of the department.

College Degree preferred.

3-5 years previous management experience, 3-5 years customer service background.

Experience analyzing financial data, computer familiarity.

Exercise independent judgment within specific guidelines.

Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
