Conference & Housing Service CoordinatorThe Conference & Housing Service Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of conference meeting and housing services in a conference center arena, including: Assisting clients throughout meeting planning process to ensure conference and housing specifications are communicated to conference team and executed for a flawless event. Manage room blocks and ensure smooth execution of arrival/departure and guest services. Directly supervise and train conference service team and vendors. Participate in pre-conference planning meetings and sales initiatives.
Ideal candidate will be degreed and have previous experience in meeting planning / conference service, hotel front office /reservations supervision, working in a convention, meeting service environment.

REQUIREMENTS
*Previous experience in conference services, meeting planning, hotel front office / reservations supervision.
* Proficient in Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint, Outlook
* Assist with the recruitment, training and supervision of conference team.
* Manage event billing process including invoicing and tracking payment status.
* Strong communications skills, client service skills and operational / supervisory skills.
