Job Description:
Supervise full and part time Coordination of Benefits Representatives.
Job Responsibilities:
Supervise a staff of 10 or more persons, interview and select personnel.
Coordinate training programs.
Evaluate individual performance, prepare and present appraisals.
Set goals and guidelines for COB Representatives.
Coordinate schedules to accommodate workflow and telephone coverage.
Maintain and evaluate data on quantity and quality to ensure that individual and the department meets/exceeds established goals.
Identify/contact applicable members, companies and providers to ascertain the existence of Coordination of benefits.
Continually stay abreast of changes in Coordination of Benefits rules and regulations.
Special tasks or projects to enhance the effectiveness of the COB Representatives or the Coordination of Benefits Department.
Job Requirements:
Job Qualifications:
Two or more years of experience in coordination of benefits or an equivalent experience to allow ability to handle the position.
College degree or related work experience.
Excellent oral and written communication skills of the English language.
Strong knowledge of COB rules and regulations.
Strong attention to detail, organization and ability to prioritize assignments.
Excellent investigation skills.
Highly developed customer service awareness.
