CLIENT SERVICE MANAGER

Client Service Manager American Coach Lines of Orlando, Inc., is currently seeking a CLIENT SERVICE MANAGER. The team member will be responsible for the daily supervision of Drivers and Operations Coordinators. Reports directly to either the Manager of Charter Operations or the Manager of Contracted Transit Operations and works closely with him/her to support, achieve and maintain departmental goals. Specific Duties and Responsibilities To Include, But Not Limited To:Enforce company policies, procedures and safey regulations
Coordinate day of scheduling of drivers and buses to ensure efficiency of the operation
Ensure that all runs are dispatched on time
Submit reports & suggestions for improvement to Operations Manager
Coordinate/transport employees for drug testing, suspension etc.
Perform time checks on drivers
Investigate accidents/incidents/injuries/complaints
Keep management informed of any variances from the normal operation
Complete all required paperwork
Drive or dispatch when necessary
Continuously evaluate operation looking for ways to improve efficiency, utilization of resources, etc
Counsel drivers on attendance issues, uniform issues, etc
Respond to complaints/inquiries of passengers
Respond to the needs of the drivers
Respond to vehicle breakdowns
Ensure that breaks/lunches are assigned as necessary
Conducts themselves in a professional manner with clients, drivers, management and all employees of the company
Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
Required Qualifications:
High school degree or equivalent
A minimum of 1 year experience in a leadership role
Proven ability to coach and develop a diverse team of employees
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with sense of urgency, while attending to details
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent PC skills – Microsoft Windows XP and Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook), Distinctive
Ability to work a flexible work schedule, including a variety of shifts and days off, 24 hours/ 7 days, holidays, nights, weekends, etc.
Experience establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships with drivers, managers and directors, providing supervision and training to subordinates
Demonstrated ability to deal effectively with conflict
Demonstrated excellent attendance record
Must have own automobile that is reliable for transportation in local area
Must have a working telephone at home Desired qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Business Management or equivalent
Proven knowledge of company policies and procedures, as well as union contract
Proven experience leading employees in a unionized environment
Proven knowledge of local area business, i.e. attractions, hotels, restaurants, etc.
Proven knowledge of the financial aspects of running an operation
Two (2) years driving experience with the company
Knowledge of the community, transportation rules and regulations as well as company/union rules and regulations
A minimum of 2 years experience in the transportation industry
Possess a Class B license w/ Passenger endorsement
