SALES ASSOCIATES/CASHIERS

As a Sales Associate/Cashier you will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service by meeting or exceeding standards for productivity, credit solicitation and merchandise presentation.

Key Accountabilities:

Greets and approaches customer promptly to determine type and quality of merchandise desired.
Displays merchandise, suggests selections that meet customer's needs.
Suggests multiple items.
Assists customer in fitting room (if appropriate) to ensure proper size.
Processes transactions on Point of Sale terminal following prescribed procedures. Receives payment or obtains credit authorization. Recommends opening a credit to all customers. Bags merchandise for customer.
Participates in physical inventory of stock as requested.
Obtains merchandise from stockroom; fills in stock as requested.

Skills Summary:
Enthusiastic individuals with strong communication skills who work well in a team environment. Ability to effectively communicate with customers and other employees of the organization.
