C/S Application Engineer

These products are used to inspect people, baggage, cargo and other objects for weapons, explosives, drugs and other contraband.

JOB SUMMARY:
Assist in engineering, maintenance, repair, installation and diagnosis of X-ray based systems, Gamma based systems and specialty product lines to component level at various customer sites.

GENERAL RESPONSIBLILTIES:
•Interface and provided in depth technical information to Engineering to resolve customer issues.
•Provides problem resolution and troubleshooting to customers.
•Acts as liaison between customer and company providing feedback regarding quality and customer satisfaction.
•Determines best method to resolve problems ensuring customer satisfaction.
•Install, troubleshoot, and maintain X-ray and security systems using built-in diagnostics and external test equipment, to provide support to customers.
•Perform and document preventative and remedial maintenance, and debuging complex electro-mechanical assemblies.
•Interface with internal groups and customer project teams and will possess decision-making capability.
•Perform pre-installation site surveys and site acceptance test.
•Provide on-site technical and operator training.
•Provide feedback to department project manager.
•Implement field change orders and upgrades.
•Travel daily domestically as well as travel internationally up to 50% of the time.
•Must be able to obtain and maintain US passport.
REQUIREMENTS
•AA or above degree in Electronics or other technical related field highly desired.
•8 years experience in related field.
•Able to interpret technical drawings, blueprints and schematics.
•Must be proficient in Microsoft Application, MS-DOS, Windows and MS Office.
•Ability to communicate clearly in English.
•Knowledge of X-ray imaging/security systems a must.
•Experience with electronic, hydraulic and mechanical assemblies as well as 3-phase power.
•Knowledge of Cesium systems is a plus.
