Business Analyst

•Analyzing business processes to develop technological solutions including configuring, designing, implementing and testing JDE applications.
•Provide business process and operational analysis in support of key business initiatives.
•Process mapping, data acquisition and analysis, issue identification and resolution, and recommendation development and implementation.
•Confers with development personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems.
•Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing, and certification of software.
•Works with Application Analysts and Application Development Specialists to develop new software applications in response to a business need.
REQUIREMENTS
•Strong business knowledge of JDE World software with a focus on the distribution and manufacturing modules.
•Should have experience in implementing enterprise IT applications, defining/mapping business processes, and understanding integration between various applications. Knowledge of supply chain business processes and experience with manufacturing/distribution systems is preferred.
•Should have significant exposure to a wide variety of business situations and demonstrated ability to conduct complete, accurate and insightful operational analysis.
•Experience in managing complex projects, leading cross-functional work groups, and conducting effective meetings is essential.
•Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to prepare presentations to (and for) executives and senior management is required.
•Demonstrated proficiency in spreadsheet and other software applications commonly used in business reporting and analysis including Excel and Acce
•Four year college degree in Business, Computer Science, or Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
•At least 3 years experience with the implementation of JDE or similar ERP system.
