Broadband Customer Care Representative

Min Pay Annually: $25,200.00
Min Pay Hourly: $12.12General Statement of Duties:
Provide in-bound call support to Windstream's Broadband and Internet customer base, to include first call resolution and up-selling products and/or features to customers. Provide exceptional technical support to enhance the customer’s experience and retain Windstream customer loyalty.Essential Functions:
Provide telephone and computer support to customers to ensure needs are met and service issues are resolved in an efficient and satisfactory mannerMulti-task with each customer for problem resolution, education and sales opportunities while managing customer interactions for performance goal attainmentRequired Skills and Abilities:
High School diploma and 2+ years work experience, with 1-2 years experience specifically customer serviceExceptional listening, verbal communication and interpersonal skills; strong phone etiquetteAbility and flexibility to work varied hours/shifts, including nights, weekends and holidaysIntermediate to expert use of a personal computer, including Internet and operating system software configurationKnowledge in the operation of dial-up or Broadband service and related configuration commandsDesired Qualifications:
Associate/Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related disciplineCall Center, Sales and/or Internet support experienceKnowledge in TCP/IP network protocolsKnowledge of common LAN systemsThere is no relocation package offered for this position.
