Books, Cards, and Magazine Specialist

Summary: Perform all functions relating to ordering and selling all products with an emphasis on selling books, cards and magazines. Assist Team Leader in overall department operation. Provide current, knowledgeable and courteous customer service. Will Do: Provide excellent customer service Perform all duties and responsibilities of Whole Body Team Member position Order Books, Cards Magazines and gifts for department Responsible for achieving and exceeding margin and sales targets Request and ensure proper signs for all sale items Process invoices and returns Execute all national and regional promotions Must strive to receive TCS score of 9.0 or better Comply with all DSHEA regulations when assisting customers in selecting products that best suits their needs Comply with all applicable State of California Health and Safety codes. Intimate knowledge of Purchase Journals, store operations workbook, electronic purchase journals and rapid receiving Maintains high integrity and professional in all vendor interactions Perform all duties assigned Must maintain Regional core set “planogram”
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 1-2 years experience as WB TM or equivalent Analytical ability and proficiency in math needed to calculate Margins, monitor profitability and manage inventory In depth knowledge of nutritional supplements and demonstrative sales ability; complete understanding of DSHEA regulations Continue education with all nutritional information Excellent communication skills Computer skills including Word, Excel and Outlook Passion for learning Understand process of category management
