Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Claim representatives embody the trust every customer places in GEICO. Claim Service Representatives (CSR's) handle claims ranging from minor fender-benders to the damage caused by major accidents, hurricanes, floods and other disasters. They verify accident facts and determine policy coverage. Other responsibilities include receiving and handling inquiries from our policyholders, claimants, and repair shops to ensure rapid and fair claims handling. Newly hired associates receive extensive training and learn the basic concepts of insurance. The successful associate can move through ascending levels of a claims professional career into positions of more responsibility.You will recieve fully paid training and we will sponsor you for your Insurance License!
Start date: 10/16/06
Starting Pay: $15.82/hr
Hours: 12:00pm - 8:30pm; four days during the week. Working one "day" each weekend is required, with shift hours that will most likely be 2:30pm -11:00pm.Training Hours : 15 weeks; Monday – Friday 12:00pm - 8:30pm.
Spanish speaking candidates are strongly desired! You must be able to speak, read, and write in Spanish fluently

Minimum Requirements of a Claims Customer Service Representative:
High School Diploma/General Education Diploma (GED)
Customer Service experience or Customer Contact (prefer 2 years or more)
Excellent computer skills
Strong written and verbal communication skillsBilingual skills= read, write and speak fluent Spanish Must be comfortable working in a call center environment
