Bilingual Collections Representatives

Located in downtown Baltimore, our Montgomery Business Park office, is currently seeking Bilingual, Spanish-Speaking, Collection Representatives to join our winning team today!

This position will be responsible for negotiating payment arrangements with debtors on third party accounts, meeting monthly goals, and demonstrating strong communication skills, principally by phone.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN A CALL CENTER HANDLING MULTIPLE INBOUND/OUTBOUND CALLS AND THE ABILITY TO SPEAK FLUENT SPANISH IS REQUIRED.

Collectors must be incentive-driven, outgoing, reliable, have the ability to make good judgment decisions, and must enjoy working in a high-volume call center.

Principle Responsibilities:
Communicate with customers in a call center atmosphere to resolve their delinquent account issues
Negotiate with debtors and provide payment options
Meet monthly performance/collection goals
Provide thorough, efficient, and accurate account updates on computer files for each call made
Knowledge and understanding of NCO Policies and Procedures
Must have good knowledge of FDCPA guidelines
Participate in various projects performed by the Collection Department
Provide feedback to management concerning possible problems or areas of improvement
Make recommendations to implement improved processes
Perform other duties as assigned by management
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
Previous collections experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate
Must be able to communicate effectively over the phone!
Ability to work in a team fostered environment
Motivated, reliable, goal-oriented personality, a must!
Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
Ability to prioritize and organize work
Ability to work in multi-tasked environment
Basic computer skills
Ability to work a flexible schedule Monday through Friday. Collectors work a minimum of two late nights per week, and a minimum of two Saturdays per month
Ability to work 40+ hours per week. Additional hours and days may be required
Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule
High School Diploma or GED Certificate
