POSITION SUMMARY:

In home sales of security systems to potential residential customers from various leads such as telemarketing leads and self generated leads.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/ RESULTS:

•Runs house and telemarketing leads as assigned, as well as develops required minimum self generated business.
•Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from newspapers, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, websites, and other sources.
•Meets sales quotas, including self generated business and monthly as set by branch manager.
•Travels throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit business or talks with customers by phone.
•Displays or demonstrates product, using samples or catalog, and emphasizes salable features.
•Works with customer and install department to coordinate installation date.
•Develops and maintains relationships with customers, investigating and resolving issues with installation or service as they arise.
•Maintains proper paperwork and submits completed paperwork in a timely manner, managing issues on the “no bill” report efficiently.


ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Assist with special projects that are programmed for extra sales opportunities, i.e.: trade shows, promotions, etc.
•Perform as a CPI team player, support all requests, and provide superior customer service.
•Maintain a minimum of a 40-hour workweek.
REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS:

•One-year certificate from college or technical school, or three to six months related experience and/or training.
•Thorough understanding of all CPI alarm systems (user interaction, troubleshooting, etc.).
•Good organization and analytical skills as well as the ability to communicate effectively.
•Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
•Clean criminal background.

Ability to work evenings and weekends is required.
