REQUIREMENTS
The Spin Restaurant bartender mixes and serves alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks to patrons of Spin restaurant, following standard recipes. Ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitters, are prepared in cocktails and other drinks. Bartenders serve wine and draught or bottled beer, collects money for drinks served, orders or requisitions liquors and supplies, and arranges bottles and glasses to make attractive display. Spin restaurant bartenders slice and pit fruit for garnishing drinks, prepare appetizers such as pickles, cheese, and cold meats, inform customers of daily specials, prepare checks that itemize and total meal costs and sales taxes, confirm membership information and member numbers, present menus to patrons and answer questions about menu items, making recommendations upon request. Bartenders are also responsible for removing dishes and glasses from tables or bar, and taking them to the kitchen for cleaning, serving food and/or beverages to patrons; preparing and serving specialty dishes at tables as required, stocking service areas with supplies such as coffee, food, tableware, and linens. Must be familiar with touch screen POS (point of sale) systems, be a team player, have strong work ethic, and work well with others.
