Associate Director Team Member Services (Experienced HR Generali

Full Job Title: Associate Director Team Member Services (Experienced HR Generalist)This position is for an individual who lives for HR administration and is extremely skilled in CREATING user-friendly tools. This position will fit an individual who is a creative designer of processes rather than an implementor or administrator. The best candidate will have supported 1000+ employees in a multi-state & multi-unit environment. Will Do: Responsible for direct leadership and regional assistance in all human resource activities to include employment, employee relations, safety, workers compensation, administration, benefits, and training and development in a multi-state environment. Consistently implement all Whole Foods Market policies. Facilitate programs that allow Team Leaders to operate in a safe environment. Maintain company salary structure, job documentation, and job evaluation systems. Work directly with store and facility-based Payroll Benefits Specialists to ensure that payroll is properly prepared and processed. Provide advice, assistance and follow-up on company policies, procedures, and documentation with regional leadership. Coordinate the resolution of specific policy-related and procedural problems and inquiries. Perform investigations to violations of company policy in a consistent and compliant manner. Work with TMS Coordinator to provide professional leadership and direction to the TMS members, to support and improve the delivery of a high quality HR service to the region. Communicate needs, trends, and all relevant issues with TMS Coordinator as well as Regional and Global leadership as necessary. Develop and recommend operating policy and procedural improvements. Serve and or lead local and national task forces. Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Must have/be 5-7 years of dedicated hands-on generalist experience, especially in the following areas: Employee Relations, Payroll, Benefits, Workers’ Compensation, and Safety. Full course HR Administration oversight with multi-state compliance. In-depth, comprehensive investigative skills. Proven experience in a leadership capacity. Desire to travel to and work with Store Leadership to prevent and resolve all employee relations matters. Exhibited ability to handle sensitive and confidential information in a trustworthy manner. Experience in effectively communicating with all levels of team members, from store based TMs through to the CEO. B.A. in an HR-related field or equivalent experience, preferably both. Calm demeanor in an emotionally-charged environment. Superior problem-solving skills. Clear and concise communication style, both written and verbal, including sharp listening skills. Ability to speak in large settings and lead meetings. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. Alignment with Whole Foods Market values and mission.
