Associate, Command Center

This position is responsible for assisting in managing a high level of quality and accuracy while maintaining the organizations goals of cost control; labor utilization and service level. The Associate, Command Center will assist in efficiently managing call volume and labor resources for our inbound and outbound call centers, while maintaining and exceeding Convergys and client goals and expectations. Provides technical support to ensure production and administrative systems function effectively. This position is instrumental in ensuring minimal downtime and rapid resolution is obtained from problem escalation. The Associate must have basic understanding of the financial impact of all decisions made within the Command Center.

REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
*Bachelor's degree in related field with zero to three yrs related experience; or Equivalent combination of education & experience
* Prior call center experience preferred and an understanding of operations support would be helpful
*Knowledge of inbound and/or outbound telemarketing industry strongly desired
*Effective organizational skills and time management skills with the ability to work on several projects simultaneously
*Able to respond quickly and intelligently in a fast paced environment
*Strong team building & leadership skills
*Excellent written & oral communication skills required
*Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, meeting multiple deadlines in a high pressure environment
*Knowledge of ACD systems, LAN networking & basic programming skills
*Proficiency with various software applications such as Microsoft Word & Excel
