Job Title: Assistant Managers and Key Holders
Job Description: Entry Level Retail Management Opportunities with the Oldest Family Owned Sporting Goods chain in the United States.
Location: Brroklyn, Queens and Staten Island


At Modell’s we encourage our Managers to run the business. You will have complete responsibility of running a business from input on merchandise selection to total profit and loss accountability. We believe in developing our Managers and Associates into leaders and have been very successful in promoting people from within the organization. We do not hire candidates as Store Managers we develop our Store Managers from the Assistant Manager and Key Holder positions within the company.


Our company was founded in 1889 and we continue to grow each year through the belief that our people are our number one asset and they must be treated this way by Listening, Respecting, and Responding to their needs. Not only are we family owned, we treat each other as Family members. REQUIREMENTS
Job Requirements

Minimum of one-year retail supervisory experience
Effective leadership and management skills
Must be experienced in handling cash
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of computers and technology
Solid understanding of retail merchandising and selling skills
High School Diploma or equivalent experience
