Assistant Manager - Wichita, KS

*Management of day-to-day operations by managing labor, counting inventory and supplies, and developing the restaurant team.
*Analyze sales, labor, inventory and control on a continual basis, and taking corrective action to meet or achieve daily or weekly margin and sales growth targets.
*Ensures that facility and equipment are maintained to company standards on a day-to-day basis.
*Supervises others efficiently and coordinating their work.
*Principle trainer for new crew members, and conducts formal crew performance appraisals.
*Assists in management of day-to-day operations by scheduling labor, ordering food and supplies, and developing the restaurant team.
*Ensures Occupational Safety & Health Act, local health and safety codes, and company safety and security policy are met.
*Profit & Loss management by following cash control/security procedures, maintaining inventory, managing labor, reviewing financial reports, and taking appropriate actions.
*Restaurant Manager will be involved and proactive in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring team members.
*Conduct performance appraisals, involved in disciplinary action, motivates all employees and trains.
REQUIREMENTS
1.High School Degree or GED preferred
2.1 to 2 years of supervisory experience within the food service/retail/customer service industry, including Profit & Loss responsibility
3.Ability to calculate/analyze data
4.Strong customer service skills required
5.Basic business math and accounting skills
6.Personal computer operations preferred.
