Activity Coordinator

Horizon Bay Senior Communities, a national senior living management company, is seeking an Activities Coordinator to plan, develop, organize, implement and direct the activity programs that enhance the physical, social, recreational, spiritual, and intellectual needs of the residents for The Terrace at First Colony, a 267 unit independent senior living community in Sugar Land, TX right outside of Houston.

You will be offered the challenge to organize, implement, and evaluate activities specifically appropriate for senior residents, including activities that enhance physical, social, recreational, spiritual, and the intellectual needs of the residents well being.
REQUIREMENTS
This position requires a highly organized and creative individual who enjoys working with seniors and has successful experience motivating the residents to participate in the activities. Candidate must work well independently, meeting time restrictions and deadlines. Previous experience in health and social services field a plus. Certification is not required but encouraged.
