Account Representative Service - Sioux Falls, SD.

The primary responsibility will be to successfully sell Honeywell services, Mini Retrofit and maintenance contracts to commercial accounts (schools, hospitals, commercial buildings) in a designated territory. Responsible for developing business plans and meeting overall financial objectives. Also be responsible for interfacing with, and calling on, all levels of management. Position requires skills of an aggressive, hard-working, sales professional who is conceptual, creative and enjoys a fast paced sales environment. Exceptional communication and organization skills. Experience in cold calling, developing new business and implementing sales strategies.

 Job Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

 

Minimum Associates degree or 6 years of direct industry sales experience.

Minimum of 1 year sales experience in a service industry or an engineering or business degree.

 

Additional Qualifications: 

 

Technical application experience with HVAC, Fire Alarm or Security Systems preferred but not required.

Ability to develop and execute prospecting and account plans.

Sales lead and account generation capabilities.

Decision making and problem solving skills.

Strong customer service & interface skills.

Strong computer software skills (Word, Excel, Powerpoint.)

Excellent analytical & problem solving skills.

Knowledge of control and mechanical system operations.

Outside sales experience, preferably selling a technical solution or service

Experience working with mechanical and electrical contractors a plus.

Excellent cold-calling skills and the ability to identify and seek out new business.
