Duration: 6+ months with likely extensionsPosition Overview: Seeking someone with strong communications and strong ZOS/ZVM technical skills to act as an onsite problem solver and technical evangelist. Will be responsible for driving technical plans and growing relationship with product engineering/development at a major Bay Area ISV. Must have broad knowledge of IBM System z with deep experience with the CICS, SQL, Cobol, Java. Technical background must include porting and migration support experience and debugging and interfacing with product development experience.
REQUIREMENTS
Required skills: IBM System z, current skills in z/OS, COBOL, Java, DB2, OracleDesired skills: PeopleSoft (a plus), knowledge of Websphere, RACF, GDPS, Tivoli and performance tuning a plus. Experience working in development a strong plus. Other desirable experience includes knowledge of Linux and positive track record interfacing with ISVs, clients, business partners, and/or industry standards boards.CTG employees enjoy a wide variety of benefits including:
