Candidates for this position will be responsible for the design,
development, and testing of reusable enterprise software components utilizing contemporary object oriented tools, techniques, and methodologies. A
strong understanding of the J2EE application development environment and large scale enterprise software applications is essential.The person will work with their peers to deliver subject area specific software components. REQUIREMENTS
Who is our ideal candidate?
Software Engineer with significant webMethods experience needed for design and development of component services. This position collaborates within an Integrated Product Team working through all phases of the systems engineering development lifecycle. Responsibilities include delivering software requirements, design, development and maintenance. Additional responsibilities may include risk identification and analysis, prototyping, and configuration tasks. As the project progresses, responsibilities may include analysis and advice on how best to leverage current and emerging technologies.Qualifications include:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or Engineering
Preference to Master's Degree in Computer Science. Five years relevant experience in the design and development of multi-tiered enterprise software systems
Experience with webMethods Integration Platform
You have designed, developed, deployed and maintained minimum of one J2EE application and be proficient in most aspects of J2EE development (EJBs, JSP/Servlets, JMC, JCA, JDO, JDBC, etc).
You have a solid understanding of J2EE architecture and design concepts as well as experience with one or more J2EE application services (WebLogic, WebSphere, JBoss, etc.)
Strong Lifecycle experience – Requirements thru Maintenance
Experience with webMethods Integration Platform Administration
Proficient in Java object oriented design and development
Solid knowledge of XML/XSL, Web Services (SOAP, WSDL, UDDI) and business process modeling
Solid understanding of service oriented architecture and design patterns
Must have good oral and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a team environment are also necessary.
